  1. Step 1: Open Steam and sign in.
  2. Step 2: Open the Games menu, then choose Activate a Product on Steam…
  3. Step 3: Enter the key and follow the prompts.
  4. Step 4: The game appears in your Library.

Who receives what

Keys are usually within minutes after your payment is confirmed. A bank check or a security review can make it take longer. If we cannot issue a key within 24 hours of payment confirmation, we refund it.

A Global key works on an account set to any country we serve. A Europe, United Kingdom, United States or North America key only activates on an account set to that region. The region is shown on every product page and in your cart.

On the platform named on the product page: for example Games, Activate a Product on Steam; Redeem code in the EA app; redeem.microsoft.com for Xbox. Step-by-step instructions for every platform are on How activation works and on your order page.

First check that the platform and region match your account. If it still fails, contact us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a screenshot of the error. We check it within 3 business days and replace the key or refund it. See the Key guarantee.

We do not store or process full payment card data. All card payments are processed by our PCI DSS compliant payment provider. Your bank may ask you to confirm the payment with 3-D Secure, for example in your banking app.

Not once it has been issued and works as described, for example if you changed your mind or bought the wrong platform when the product page stated it correctly. Please check the platform, region and edition before you buy.
